Timothy Howlin Tapped to Helm Market Expansion at Rising
COST CONTAINMENT LEADER CHOOSES CARE MANAGEMENT EXEC TO OVERSEE GROWTH
March 20, 2017 – Chicago, IL – Industry veteran Timothy Howlin has joined Rising Medical Solutions (Rising) as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. For more than 25 years, Tim has held integral roles with high growth managed care organizations, specializing in customer acquisition and retention. Reporting directly to the CEO, Tim is responsible for increasing revenue and gross margin, growth strategy development and execution, and leading high performance sales teams.
“Rising is well-known for providing customer value through its flagship medical bill repricing services,” says Howlin. “Lesser known is Rising’s innovative, analytics-driven care management services where they really extend customer and patient value. It’s an exciting proposition to grow market share for a company dedicated to both financial and functional recovery outcomes.”
Prior to joining Rising, Tim was Senior Vice President of National Sales with Optum, a division of United Healthcare Group. He joined Optum via PMSI in late 2008 and played a number of vital client-facing leadership roles during its change and evolution. Before Optum, Tim served as Regional Vice President for Medical Services Company (MSC), where he was responsible for expanding MSC’s footprint into new regions and significantly contributing to the company’s overall success. Tim is currently president of the New York Claims Association, a 103-year-old organization dedicated to the advancement of professional ethics and education in insurance claims management.
“Tim’s history of hands-on leadership and commitment to operational excellence aligns not only with Rising’s customer focus, but also our patient advocacy focus. I look forward to this next phase of Rising’s national growth with Tim onboard,” says Jason Beans, Rising Chief Executive Officer.
