June 21, 2016 — Cranston, RI & Chicago, IL — Updated Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Fee Schedules have been released. The new Hospital Fee Schedule will go into effect on July 1, 2016, and the new Medical Fee Schedule will go into effect on July 15, 2016, for services on or after those dates.
The Medical Fee Schedule contains rules and maximum reimbursement rates, by procedure, for workers’ compensation medical services in the State of Rhode Island. These guidelines and rates cover a number of services, including: Anesthesia, Pharmacy, Surgical, and Physical/Occupational Medicine.
The Hospital Fee Schedule contains rules and maximum reimbursement rates, by facility and service type, for workers’ compensation hospital services in the State of Rhode Island.
